The District Ayurvedic Hospital for Mannar District was ceremonially opened by Dr. (Mrs.) S. Thurairatnam, Provincial Director of Indigenous Medicine, NP on 05August 2010. On this occasion Dr. (Mrs.) Stela Rathin Jude, Regional Director of Health Services Mannar, Rev. Paris Priest of Vankalai and Grama Niladhari of Vankalai and other VIPs were present.
The workshop on Basic Planning Technical was held on 04 August 2010 at 9.00 a.m. at the MDTI Auditorium for 60 numbers of Programme Assistants.
