On behalf of Hon.Governor, the Secretary to the Governor Northern Province Mr.S.Rangarajah opened Child Protection Centers on 03.03.2010. This centers constructed by the allocation made to the Department of Probation and Child Care Services, Northern Province.

At this ceremony the Secretary of Local Government, Deputy Chief Secretary-Planning and the Commissioner Probation and Child Care Services Northern Province were participated. At this speech the Secretary to the Governor briefly explained the objectives of the Child Protection Centers and necessity of the case inquiry rooms at the divisional level.
